Karissa (Lexie) Pivirotto-Britton, PPS, LEP, ABSNP
Welcome to KPB Educational Psychology! My name is Karissa, but everyone calls me Lexie. My pronouns are she/her. I am a third generation School Psychologist and Licensed Educational Psychologist (#3939) who has been working in the field for over a decade. I have worked in a wide variety of programs and educational settings in my time as a practicing School Psychologist, supporting students of all ages.
My biggest goal in my work is to help people understand and navigate their educational and mental health worlds in a way that makes them feel seen, heard, and respected. My practice and work align with my personal values of being neurodiversity- and LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, and trauma informed. I want to work with you to center you or your child's unique identity, values, lived experiences, strengths, interests, and support needs in the course of your assessment.
I am a musician who has been performing since youth. I love singing and connecting with others through music! For fun, I love to read, play the guitar, watch movies, play video games, listen to podcasts, and spend time with my loved ones. I’m passionate about volunteering for organizations that support and advocate for the rights of LGBTQIA+ folx and other social justice causes.
I look forward to supporting you and your child on your educational or mental health journey!
